Virtual Meter Open-Source Project Now Live on GitHub
To promote more open-source innovations using the IAMMETER Virtual Meter, we’ve officially launched a new open-source project on GitHub: Integrate 3rd-Party Devices into IAMMETER Virtual Meter.
The first example showcases how to use the Scripts feature to upload energy data from a Shelly EM3 Pro device to the Virtual Meter.

Reward Points Redemption Now Available
Two weeks ago, we launched a new Rewards Program to encourage community-driven promotion of IAMMETER. Earn Free Smart Meters with IAMMETER’s New Rewards Program

WEM3050T Now Available on Amazon Germany
Great news for our European customers! The WEM3050T is now available on Amazon Germany, with shipping handled directly by Amazon.
The WEM3050T comes with a 3–6 month IAMMETER-Cloud Pro trial by default. After the trial period ends, you have two options:
- Redeem Reward Points for more Pro time (3,000 Points = 1 Year)
- Switch to IAMMETER-Cloud Basic Plan, launching at the end of May
IAMMETER-Cloud Basic Plan Coming in May
We are excited to announce that a Basic Plan for IAMMETER-Cloud will be officially launched in May 2025. This new plan will offer essential data recording and visualization features, providing a simplified and permanent cloud service option for certain devices.
Here’s what this means:
- WEM3050T will include lifetime access to the Basic Plan (plus a 3-month Pro trial by default). After the trial, you can choose to upgrade to Pro by paying a subscription fee.
- WEM3080T, WEM3046T, and WEM3080 continue to include lifetime IAMMETER-Cloud Pro service.
All existing IAMMETER-Cloud features are now part of the Pro tier.
New Project: Adjusting Heat Pump Power with Solar Surplus
IAMMETER is launching a new smart control project—this time, extending our surplus solar energy control logic from resistive heaters to heat pumps, building upon our PV Heater Control System.
